OSW August Update!

• Next episode will be SummerSlam 2016! Aiming for release around Saturday 27th Aug. It’ll be myself and V1, he’s keen to chat about the brand split 🙂
• I’d love to cover NXT but it’s on the day beforehand SSlam, doing an ep means I don’t sleep for a few days, I can’t do a week without sleep! I’ll write up my thoughts on it when I watch it 🙂
• YouTube: The last week has been super sweet as we’ve been able to get Royal Rumble ’92 and SummerSlam ’92 up! I’m just working on getting full-screen versions vetted instead of the windowed vids. Next on the list is WCW Fall Brawl ’95, SummerSlam 2015 & ’16 (when it’s ready, lol)
• Audio Podcast: I put up the mp3 of my NXT Dallas Review on the feed, and Fall Brawl should be up v soon 🙂 You can check it out on iTunes or Android 🙂
• Super OSW 64: The next bank holiday won’t be until next month but I’m keen to get the wheels rolling on Level 10! Request your videogame music tracks here (and also where you’re from so I can give you a shoutout!) OSWreview.com/super-osw-64-level-9
• The response for NoggerU has been amaaazing! Seriously you’ve no idea how grateful I am. Over the last year my time became very limited, meaning we could only get about 4 episodes out per year (seriously – X7 was in October!). Setting up a patreon was a way so I could spend more time editing the show and thanks to NoggerU there’ll be a new free OSW roughly every month! Somewhere between every 4-6 weeks. It’s an amazing feeling getting breathing space to do my favourite thing in the world (make more OSW!). We’ve done the show pretty much the same way for the last 5 years (minus the Rock Band mic in a popcorn tub!) so it’s a bit of a shock to the system. Re:Extra stuff, I’m reducing hours working my real job so to thank people paying my bills, I gotta give back the only way I know how, additional videos and physical stuff in the post! I’ve more NoggerU updates including what 3-man review we’re doing next on the site!
• I got a new desk! It’s a graphite corner desk from Piranha. It has a grill underneath, is that for cable tidying? That isn’t news in itself (lol) but I had help from you guys getting it! Piranha (UK) don’t deliver to Ireland so I asked around twitter if anyone’s in Northern Ireland, a dozen people immediately wrote back, Alan said he’d a garage (or “car hole”, la-de-da Mr. French man!) shipped it to him and had a courier pick it up. Just put it together last night. Thanks to all the lovely Nordies who offered 🙂 Shoutout to Alan @Mooreso1981!

Super OSW 64 news!

Hey yo. I’ve a good news sandwich (2 bits of good news with bad news in the middle). Hey, it’s a thing. If it isn’t a thing, it’s a thing now 😉

• Here’s the good news: Super OSW 64 is getting a third show! It’s gonna be this Saturday, 18th July, LIVE at 1pm BST!
• Here’s the bad news: It will be the *final* show. Stadium Saturday will be back next month so the interrim replacement shows won’t be needed anymore.
• And the good news: I’m gonna kill it! I’m gonna kill my creation! Since it’s my last show, I’m taking requests, tell me what your favourite videogame songs are and I’ll try include them, no franchise restrictions. Comment below, and please include a youtube link, it makes it so much easier for me and I’m more likely to pick it! Also include what city/state or country you’re from so I can name-drop you & your town on the show!

OSW Update! 10 July

Hey yo! Here’s what’s going on with OSW in July:

• We recorded a special Brucie Bonus episode, and it’ll be out sometime in the next week! It’s a 3-man film review (like The Happening was) and we think you’ll really dig it. It’s a mental review. It’s not a wrestling film either – you’ll never guess what it is, unless you’re extremely vigilant, in that case, yes it’s that one.
• I’m hoping to lock down another episode of my videogame music show, Super OSW 64, I’ll find out in the next day or two. UPDATE: Coming this Saturday, 18th July!
• The next OSW Review – Episode 52, Simulcast RAW – is in the books, in the pocket, out of sight! We recorded it on Thursday. Was a whopper show, had a great time doing it. It’ll feature the MONTAAAAAGE of artwork you guys sent us in over the last couple of months! I’m hoping to have it out by the end of the month, but I’ll let you know when I’ve broken the back of editing.
• We’re also looking to sort a panel for Dublin Comic Con next Month! All going well we’ll have the deets in a few days.
• Chatted to V1 yesterday about live-streaming more games, he’ll only do it if he’s around for an hour or two. I’ll prod him for an Arkham Knight stream because I pledged not to buy it until the GOTY edition comes out!
• I’ve been working on getting the YouTube episodes back up, WWE and YouTube are very, very slow but I’m making headway. They’re all still there, just not available if that makes sense. The first order is getting the episodes that’ve never appeared on YT (Halloween Havoc onwards) online! I do have some small snippets of videos waiting to be edited but I’ll get the Brucie Bonus episode out first.
• My new advice for anyone making videos is to include the word “Lesbians”. Our Lesbian Pollen video clocked over 3 million views! It didn’t help AJ & Paige’s feud though 😀
• My latest horror film review is Texas Chainsaw 3D, featuring Woody Harrelson’s gorgeous mistress from True Detective S1! Check it out: OSWreview.com/media/movie-texas-chainsaw-2013/
• I’ve been reviewing the current season of Tough Enough as well! Not enough people are annoyed that they’re flagrantly breaking the rules by adding a new competitor 3 weeks in! OSWreview.com/category/tough-enough/

OSW Update (15th June!)

• Next episode is WWF RAW Simulcast, from the same night as Final Nitro (March 26th) which is also the go-home show of WMX7!
• It’s too soon to give an estimated date for Episode 51, but I’m aiming for the same time next month. I’ll let you know when we’ve recorded and editing is further along 🙂
• I know it doesn’t look like it, but we’ve made significant headway with YouTube. Our plan is to get all our episodes on YT available again, but sadly it’s a slow process getting them vetted!
• We did record something exclusively for a short YouTube video, I should have it edited in the next week. Whenever our YT channel is back in the pink, the next YouTube review is Metal Gear Solid 4! Sorry to leave ye hanging on it!
• Written Film/videogame-review wise, I just finished reviewing the 4 Mad Max films! Next reviews in the pipeline are STATE of Decay and most likely, It Follows.
• Thank you for your lovely feedback re: Super OSW 64, a one off radio show about videogame music I hosted recently. Hoping to snag another slot if available for round 2!

• Some notes about episode 51 (Final Nitro):
– Thanks for being so patient with the wait! Tons of real-life stuff came up meaning I couldn’t edit on my days off like I normally do.
– The original intention of the video had a “worst of WCW” vibe to it, but seeing the end from WCW’s viewpoint at Nitro, it was just sad the way the company closed. So I asked Tri.moon to make a WCW Desire vid instead! Seriously love it. He also made our Dean Ambrose/Brian Pillman mashup for Hell in a Cell 2014 too!
– Next episode will have an OSW artwork showcase! If you wanna draw us anything (like an OSW Monster Truck, or Ghost Linda perhaps!) please send it to us here, twitter or email OSWreview @ gmail. com!
– I’m shocked so many noticed there wasn’t a WHAT BARRRR or Ad Break Questionarium. We did discuss What Bar during the Bam Bam match (there’s so few colours – black,white, pink we just left it be). They’ll be back!
– The Mean Gene/blooper reel at the start of the video was from Jerry Springer’s WWE Network show, Too Hot For TV episode 6 “Bloopers and Blunders”. The show itself is pretty awful (it’s Springer in front of a green screen throwing to clips) but that episode was a goldmine! My favourite was Kane breaking his sledgehammer on the tombstone!
– The Dusty promo used (SummerSlam 89, vs Honky Tonk Man) is my favourite promo of his. You can mark this one down tonight, I’mma kick your bootay, haaa!
– 2 people (so far) know what HANG TIME is.
