OSW update for June!
• The next episode, WCW Fall Brawl 95 later this month, roughly mid-June. EDIT: AROUND THE START OF JULY. SORRY GUYS 🙁 There’s a ton of splicey, it’ll be one of the biggest episodes we’ve done! It gobbles up all my free time after work so it’ll take a few more weekends to complete, wish I could spend more time on it! I’ll update everyone when I’m on the home straight editing 🙂

Pre-ordering can fuck right off though! Fairly certain David Arquette was one of the officers there 😛
There’s a cool little easter egg at the end, the sign that says “Suplex City”! Prob best not to remind people of WM XX’s Goldberg vs Brock match though!
Last year’s ad was a Terminator 2 parody (as multiple Arnies were in 2K16) and prior to that was Sting, and both are now in the WWE Hall of Fame, so things are looking good for Goldberg in the 2017 HOF.

TEN YEARS AGO TODAY!
Back in 2006, Imposter Kane was part of a shamelessly awesome storyline used to promote the release date of Kane’s debut movie, See No Evil. He started hearing voices in his head causing him to repeat the date over and over (May 19th). This came to a head as another Kane (in his classic 1997 garb) confronted him. Immediately the commentators sand-bagged it, saying it was an imposter (not attempting to play along with an illusion or physical manifestation of his psyche etc). Gallows here actually had his mannerisms down pat, but the crowd had absolutely NONE OF IT, especially his massive Kane Frizz wig!
His next appearance he did sort out the wig, gelled, looked perfect. Fans didn’t understand/like the storyline and their match at Vengeance 2006 was met with deafening silence. The next night on RAW, Kane demasked the imposter (it was Festus all along!), threw him out of the building, killing the storyline.

OSW Update for May!

• We’re recording the next part of the WCW Dungeon of Doom story arc with FALL BRAWL 95 Tuesday (17 May)! Absolutely decimated for free time so I’ll be spending my weekends doing this; probably out around the 2nd week of June – will let you know when we’re on the home straight for editing 😀 It’s gonna be so incredible! SOOOO much good badness to enjoy/give out about!
• A new edition of Super OSW 64 went up last week! Really happy with the show, tons of awesome videogame music. We’re actually nearly full with requests for Level 9 – suggest tracks in the comments section here!
• With YouTube – currently hassling WWE to allow me to post the full-screen version of WrestleMania X7, should be up in about 2 months. Til then I’ll be uploading shorter snippets and window’d versions of previous episodes in chronological order (into 1989 episodes now!) to keep the channel ticking over until WWE allow the proper full-screen versions. Latest is the WBF retrospective! You can check ’em all out here!
• OSW turned FIVE last week! Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday wishes. You can see the post here, filled with 10 lesser-known facts about OSW! (wow, I almost wrote WBW there!)
• To kick off year 6 of OSW we made a HUGE announcement for 2017! Actual one-in-a-lifetime stuff, thanks to much to @TheBradGimmick of @GimmickTree . Pretty hilarious to have Bill Apter with the announcement considering we just put him through the ringer for the PWI awards at Starrcade 94!

Super huge OSW announcement!
OH SHIIIIIIIIIII
• YEEEEEEEOW! We’ll be at WRESTLECON 2017! It’s on the week leading up to WrestleMania 33, very close to where WM33 is being held, in Orlando Florida. It’s gonna be emotional!
• The announcement vid was shot during WrestleCon last month, that’s Bill Apter (of Starrcade 94 PWI awards ‘fame’!), promoter Brad Jones, head of Gimmick Tree (the guys putting on the promotion) and of course THE GENIUS Lanny Poffo!
• We’ll have more info on the event as they’re set but the main thing is if you were planning on going to a WrestleMania, go next year and meet us!! BOYS CLUB!!
